Three Sites, One Vision

Our three homes form the foundations of our Artistic, Academy and Community pillars.

#Three sites

Our three homes form the foundations of our Artistic, Academy and Community pillars.
We have designed each home with people at heart.

Thomas Dixon Centre

Thomas Dixon Centre

Home to Queensland Ballet since 1991, the Thomas Dixon Centre is expanding its cultural offering, becoming a hub of creativity, innovation and ideas between artists, dancers, audiences and visitors from all walks of life.

Queensland Ballet Academy

Queensland Ballet Academy

The official professional dance training organisation of Queensland Ballet, and home to our Academy students. Opened in 2020, this state of the art facility allows room for dance growth and athletic development.

The Roy and Nola Thompson Production Centre

The Roy and Nola Thompson Production Centre

When operational, the Production Centre will be one of Queensland Ballet’s three homes, supporting the broader creative industries and community in Queensland and within Queensland Ballet.

#Capital Campaigns

Be a part of Queensland Ballet’s future by helping us to realise the redevelopment of the Thomas Dixon Centre into a landmark, state-of-the-art performing arts destination.

Take your Seat

Take your Seat

We invite you to take your seat in the Thomas Dixon Centre Studio Theatre. There are over 300 seats to choose from and seats can be dedicated as you wish. A limited number of seats in the Artistic Director’s Row are still available.

Dancers Dressing Stations

Dancers Dressing Stations

A dancer’s dressing station is a very personal space that you're invited to be a part of. We invite you to dedicate a dressing station, where our dancers seek inspiration and focus.

Ballet experiences

Go behind the scenes of our venues, performances, or create an event your guests will remember.

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we work and perform. Long before we performed on this land, it played host to the dance expression of our First Peoples. We pay our respects to their Elders — past, present and emerging — and acknowledge the valuable contribution they have made and continue to make to the cultural landscape of this country.
