#2026 Education Offerings

We’re delighted to share Queensland Ballet’s 2026 Education Program, featuring a dynamic suite of Immersion Experiences and Teacher Professional Development sessions designed to complement our 2026 Artistic Season.

Our 2026 offerings are created to inspire curiosity, creativity, and connection — both in the studio and the classroom. Alongside our popular In-School Workshops, the Thomas Dixon Centre program provides meaningful curriculum alignment and co-curricular enrichment, ensuring every experience supports learning outcomes, brings the artistry of dance to life, and highlights career pathways in the performing arts through engaging, hands-on learning.

You can be confident that all Queensland Ballet Education programs are grounded in the ACARA v9 Dance Curriculum, feature cross-curricular connections, and align with QCAA Senior Dance syllabuses.

Our Education team includes highly skilled Teaching Artists, coordinated by an experienced registered educator with over 15 years of experience teaching Dance and Performing Arts in Queensland schools. Each experience reflects our commitment to providing academically rigorous, joyful, and inspiring learning opportunities that resonate with students and educators across Queensland.

Building on the success and strong demand of previous years, we’re excited to continue our most-requested programs and expand collaborations with valued partners — including our friends at Dead Puppet Society — to deliver innovative, high-quality experiences for both teachers and students.

As we look ahead to 2026, please note there will be a small increase in pricing across our Education offerings. This is our first adjustment since before 2019 and we’ve taken great care to keep these changes minimal, recognising that schools also carry additional costs such as transport and teacher release time. Our focus remains on keeping high-quality arts education accessible and enriching for all.

We invite you to explore our 2026 offerings and indicate which programs interest you most — complete our Expression of Interest survey and our team will be in touch once bookings open.

Plan your visit

Everything you need to know about the Thomas Dixon Centre before you visit - make sure you're prepared.

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we work and perform. Long before we performed on this land, it played host to the dance expression of our First Peoples. We pay our respects to their Elders — past, present and emerging — and acknowledge the valuable contribution they have made and continue to make to the cultural landscape of this country.
