Teacher Professional Development

Teacher Professional Development

Professional development workshops designed to connect with, support and further a dance teacher's knowledge and skills.

Educators, dance teachers and studios play an invaluable role in the lives of dancers across Queensland. They are the igniters, the inspirers and the magic makers.

#Term 3

Teachers’ Professional Development Session

Date: Wednesday 30 July
Time: 1.30pm start (approx. 2-hour duration)
Location: Talbot Theatre, Thomas Dixon Centre (Montague Rd, West End, Brisbane)

Program Update: Exclusive Invitation for School Dance Teachers

Due to a change in programming, the previously scheduled Professional Development session on choreographic process and dance-making will be postponed to a later date. However, Queensland Ballet is delighted to offer school dance teachers a special invitation to attend the Technical Rehearsal of Bespoke 2025—a unique opportunity to witness the creative and technical elements of this bold, contemporary season in action.

(Please note that this is a working Technical Rehearsal, and the Artistic team may pause the run to provide notes to dancers and technical crew as required.)

Places are limited. To secure your spot, please email education@queenslandballet.com.au.

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we work and perform. Long before we performed on this land, it played host to the dance expression of our First Peoples. We pay our respects to their Elders — past, present and emerging — and acknowledge the valuable contribution they have made and continue to make to the cultural landscape of this country.
