Sally Ringland

Sally has been dedicated to dance since an early age. At fifteen, she was awarded the Australasian British Ballet Scholarship to study in London, and on her return was inspired to move to Melbourne to commence full time training. Sally is a qualified registered ballet teacher of the Royal Academy of Dance and has attained a certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies, Diploma in Arts majoring in Classical Ballet and Royal Academy of Dance Solo Seal. Sally has been a core member of Queensland Ballet's Education team since 2013. Sally has developed numerous workshops and courses including, but not limited to QB's inaugural early years creative movement 'Twinkle Toes' (known now as Petit Pointers) and Ballet Basics. Sally was a member of Queensland Ballet's Professional Year, where she trained and performed with the Company. She then went on to travel the world performing in international stage shows performing as principle dancer, aerialist, magician's assistant, singer and adagio act. Sally encompasses an inclusiveness and enthusiasm in her teaching that inspires her students to explore the world of ballet and realise just how much ballet can enrich their lives.
