 Queensland Ballet Performance Project 2025

Presented by Redland Performing Arts Centre
and Queensland Ballet

Be part of a joyful, inclusive performance experience with Queensland Ballet. Guided by a Queensland Ballet Teaching Artist, participants will contribute to the creation of an original dance work through gentle movement workshops, creative exploration, and shared storytelling.

No dance experience required - just a willingness to move, connect and create. Participants from the Queensland Ballet Performance Project will take the stage as part of the Sing Sing Sing Mental Health Week Concert at 10:00 AM on Saturday, 11 October at the Redland Performing Arts Centre Studio. This inspiring collaboration celebrates creativity, wellbeing, and community through the power of dance and music. Tickets on sale soon!

The program starts with a 3-hour introductory workshop, followed by fortnightly rehearsals in September and October.

All active adults, especially seniors, are warmly invited.

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we work and perform. Long before we performed on this land, it played host to the dance expression of our First Peoples. We pay our respects to their Elders — past, present and emerging — and acknowledge the valuable contribution they have made and continue to make to the cultural landscape of this country.
