#Raw, radiant, and unrelentingly human.

Step into a powerful new dance experience with Elastic Hearts, a bold fusion of contemporary ballet and the chart-topping music of SIA, reimagined with cinematic grandeur and music recording by Queensland Symphony Orchestra.

Choreographed and directed by Garry Stewart, this visually stunning production is a sensory journey through nature, creativity, and resilience. At its heart is a commanding ‘Gaia’ figure – a matriarchal force who invokes the cycles of life and the creative spirit through movement, music, and light.

Presented as the first of three music-led world premieres exclusive to Home of the Arts, Elastic Hearts marks the beginning of an exciting partnership between Experience Gold Coast and Queensland Ballet.

With creative staging, evocative design, and the unmistakable voice of SIA, Elastic Hearts promises to leave you humming, moved, and utterly spellbound.

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we work and perform. Long before we performed on this land, it played host to the dance expression of our First Peoples. We pay our respects to their Elders — past, present and emerging — and acknowledge the valuable contribution they have made and continue to make to the cultural landscape of this country.
