Dr Jenna Taylor is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and Lecturer at The University of Queensland within the School of Human Movement and Nutrition Sciences. Her research into healthy hearts and brains stems from her clinical experience working in cardiac rehabilitation settings. Her PhD investigated the effect of high intensity interval training (HIIT) in cardiac rehabilitation for improving fitness, vascular health, and body composition, as well as safety and feasibility. She has recently returned from a position at the Mayo Clinic (United States), where she leads a study investigating the optimal exercise training for brain blood flow and cognitive function in patients with heart disease. Her research interests further extend to interventions that enhance healthy ageing throughout the lifespan to improve our heart and brain health.

We pay our respects to their Elders — past, present and emerging — and acknowledge the valuable contribution they have made and continue to make to the cultural landscape of this country.
