Inside the World of Gemini with Jack Lister

Step into the bold, subterranean world of Gemini, where nothing is quite as it seems.
In this new work premiering as part of Queensland Ballet’s upcoming Triple Bill, choreographer Jack Lister invites audiences beneath the surface - into a space where movement is only the beginning. Known for his cinematic flair and immersive storytelling, Lister speaks to his obsession with world-building: crafting rich, atmospheric environments that audiences don’t just watch, but enter.
With Gemini, he blurs the line between reality and the imagined, asking us to suspend disbelief and buy into something strange, shadowy, and entirely compelling.
