Dance with Queensland Ballet at Home

Accessible ballet-inspired movement classes for children and adults, designed to support creativity, wellbeing and connection.

Dance with Queensland Ballet at Home

Experience the joy of movement from home with Queensland Ballet’s series of ballet-inspired exercise videos for all ages. Each session is thoughtfully designed and led by our Teaching Artists, who are joined by Queensland Ballet Artists, to guide you through accessible, engaging movement experiences you can enjoy anywhere.

Our ‘Early Years’ class invites young children on a playful adventure through the sea, land and sky, encouraging imagination, coordination and confidence. For adults, three unique sessions offer a range of movement experiences: a dynamic and rhythmic workout to build energy and strength; a port de bras and adagio class focusing on slow, fluid upper-body movement; and a gentle, mindful session that blends breath with calm, restorative ballet-inspired exercises.

Whether you’re new to dance or returning to movement, these videos provide a welcoming way to stay active, grounded and creatively engaged at home.

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we work and perform. Long before we performed on this land, it played host to the dance expression of our First Peoples. We pay our respects to their Elders — past, present and emerging — and acknowledge the valuable contribution they have made and continue to make to the cultural landscape of this country.
