Celebrating Christmas in July - Nutcracker Edition

2025 marks the last time that we will be performing Ben Stevenson's The Nutcracker

Celebrating Christmas in July - Nutcracker Edition

As winter sparkles across Queensland, we celebrate Christmas in July by honouring the dancers who’ve graced our stage year after year in The Nutcracker.

Queensland Ballet shines a light on some of its longest-serving performers - each sharing the number of seasons they’ve brought artistry, passion, and poise to life.

Some have appeared in every production since its 2013 premiere!

Don't miss your chance to secure your seats to The Nutcracker, which runs from 5 - 13 December at QPAC.

Partnership with Purpose: Reconciliation Through the Arts

We sat down with Aaron Dahl to discuss McCullough Robertson’s reconciliation journey and their ongoing collaboration with Queensland Ballet.

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we work and perform. Long before we performed on this land, it played host to the dance expression of our First Peoples. We pay our respects to their Elders — past, present and emerging — and acknowledge the valuable contribution they have made and continue to make to the cultural landscape of this country.
