QB Walks
Mount Coot-tha Slaughter Falls

A series of gentle guided walks to prepare you for the adventure of a lifetime on the Camino de Santiago.
To prepare for the Camino de Santiago 2026, Queensland Ballet is partnering with Climbing Mountains for a series of guided training walks led by Chris Moyle.
There will be nine walks over twelve months—three in the first six months and monthly walks in the final stretch, featuring hikes at scenic spots like Mt Coot-tha. Each walk gradually increases in intensity, covering essential Camino skills such as hiking uphill, handling long-distance mental endurance, choosing the right footwear, and backpacking techniques. Perfect for those curious about multi-day hikes or preparing for the Camino experience.
Our next walk takes place on Saturday, Februrary 7, 2026 at 8:00am. We will meet you at Mount Coot-tha Slaughter Falls Car Park.
