In-School Immersions
Immersive learning incursion for students

#Program Overview
Let us bring the professional dance world directly to your school or studio with an In-School Immersion Experience designed to complement learning and engage students through practical, interactive and behind-the-scenes experiences. Suitable for primary and secondary school groups and dance studio groups, the half-day program can work around existing lessons and break times. Students participate in two practical workshops, explore the Thomas Dixon Centre through an exclusive virtual tour, discover the many careers that contribute to a professional dance company and get an up-close look at Queensland Ballet costumes.
Aligned with the ACARA Version 9 Dance curriculum, QCAA Senior Dance syllabuses and relevant VET Dance pathways, the In-School Immersion Experience connects classroom learning with current professional dance practice and provides students with meaningful insight into the skills, roles and expectations of the dance industry. The experience offers a flexible and accessible way for students to engage directly with industry professionals and see how their learning connects to future study and career pathways.
