Fuel the Future

Giving Day: 9 September | 9am – 9pm

On 9 September, for just 12 hours, every dollar you donate will be quadrupled – thanks to our extraordinary match donors. That means a $25 donation becomes $100. A $250 donation becomes $1,000.

Together, we’re aiming to raise $2 million to fuel the future of ballet – and every dollar raised goes directly to Queensland Ballet Academy.

The Academy is where tomorrow’s artists take their first steps. It’s where dreams become careers. Stand with us and support dance education that transforms lives.

Giving Day

#Why Give?

Help us reach our $2 million target in 12 hours. Every gift, big or small, fuels the future.

  • You believe in nurturing the next generation of artists.
  • You want to see world-class dance training delivered right here in Queensland.
  • You understand the power of arts education to shape confident, creative humans.
  • You stand with the 47,000+ young Queenslanders who participate in dance – making it the fourth most popular activity in the state for young people - ahead of netball, AFL, cricket and rugby.

#Become a Match Donor

Our vision

Queensland Ballet is driven by a vision to connect more people to the arts. Read about how our initiatives are bringing us closer to achieving this vision.

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we work and perform. Long before we performed on this land, it played host to the dance expression of our First Peoples. We pay our respects to their Elders — past, present and emerging — and acknowledge the valuable contribution they have made and continue to make to the cultural landscape of this country.
