Introducing Patricio

Patricio was born in Cuba and began his ballet training at 9 years old at the Fernando Alonzo Cuban Ballet School.  In 2015 he joined the Ballet Nacional de Cuba and was promoted to Principle Dancer in 2017. During his time with the company he toured internationally to Italy, Spain, France, United States of America, Canada and performed for the King in Cambodia. Patricio joined the Queensland Ballet in 2018 as Company Artist and was promoted to soloist following his standout performance of Romeo in Sir Kenneth MacMillian’s, Romeo and Juliet. In 2021, he was promoted to Senior Soloist and in 2022, was promoted to Principal Artist.
