Dance Camp subsidy information

To ensure the Dance Camp is accessible to families in a variety of circumstances, Shell’s QGC joint venture partners CNOOC and Tokyo Gas are offering a limited number of travel and financial hardship subsidies for the Gladstone Dance Camp in Sept/Oct 2020. These will be granted at the discretion of the Queensland Ballet Project Manager on a first-in basis. Please note that if applicable, you will only be granted either a travel subsidy or a financial hardship subsidy.

Financial hardship subsidy

a. One-off financial hardship subsidies are a maximum of $300 per person.

b. Financial hardship requests must be supported by scanned or photographic evidence of participants holding their own Australian Centrelink Low Income Health Care Card or appearing as a dependent on a parent’s card.

Travel subsidy

a. One-off travel subsidies are a maximum of $100 per person may be available to students who are required to travel more than 250km (one-way) to attend the camp.

b. Travel subsidy requests must be supported by scanned or photographic documentation of proof of address.
