Audition Application Requirements
Please note that you will need to upload a copy of your CV/resume, a recent headshot and full length photo upon registration for auditions. Applicants must be in a classical dance position for full length photo; arabesque, a la seconde, écarté (en pointe for the ladies).
Video Submission
All applicants must submit a show reel/video as part of their audition registration. Please refer to the guidelines outlined in the submission form to ensure your video meets all requirements.
Filming for Artistic Review and Evaluation
Should your application progress to an in-person audition opportunity, please note that both class and callbacks/variations are filmed for the purpose of artistic review and evaluation by the Artistic Director. By completing your audition submission, you agree to being filmed as part of this process.
Jette Parker Young Artist program
Queensland Ballet’s Jette Parker Young Artist program is an immersive, year-long apprenticeship program for gifted young dancers who are at the start of their professional careers.
Those looking to join the Jette Parker Young Artist program are required to audition alongside those auditioning as Company Artists.
