I hope this message from me finds you and your loved ones well.
In these times of uncertainty, thank you for your patience and support, as we place the health and wellbeing of our people and audiences at the centre of all that we do. As our studios are now mostly quiet as we do our part for the health effort, we are working hard to consider new and surprising ways to surprise and delight you. After all, ballet is a gift and it’s our job to unwrap its many layers.
Following the advice of our Governments, collaborators and venues, we have had to make some changes to our 2020 season. Whilst these are disappointing in many ways, we are filled with hope as we consider that we are doing our part to keep our community safe during this sensitive time. I gave our team the impossible task of ensuring that every moment of creative energy that went into the design of our QB20 Season was to be brought to life at some point, on some stage. Not a breath of rehearsal, composition, choreography or passion was to be lost. I’m thrilled that we have managed to do just that and I would like to thank the inexhaustible QB team and our collaborators for their belief and tenacity.
The information below will outline the inevitable changes to our Season but also highlighted, are our rescheduled productions so that QB20 still has potential to delight you when we are through the challenges of COVID-19.
QB20 will triumph and we will get through this, together.
Sending love and well wishes to you and yours
