If you are a dance teacher or have an interest in Senior's health and wellbeing, join us for our upcoming workshop on the Sunshine Coast.
Our Ballet for Seniors Teacher Training supports Queensland Ballet’s vision to deliver world leading creative health programs, underpinned by evidence-based practice. The program will leverage Queensland Ballet’s artistic excellence and existing practice, with class content informed by the research findings from the ‘Ballet Moves for Creative Health’ report; a project conducted in partnership with Queensland University of Technology (QUT).
This course is designed for dance teachers looking to deliver dance for seniors classes in their local settings, and for health professionals looking for ways to improve mobility, movement and mental fitness for senior patients within their existing practice.
