What inspires you to dance?
The music is my biggest inspiration. The way it can completely intoxicate you, transcending any concept of time and space and making you aware of nothing but the present moment.
I also get a lot of inspiration from the passion and determination I see in my colleagues and dancers around the world.
Did you know…
Sophie first performed with Queensland Ballet as Young Swanhilda in Greg Horsman's Coppélia in 2014.
