Introducing Keigo

Keigo was born in Japan and began training at Academie Princesse Grace at age 7. At aged 13 he moved to Monaco to continue his ballet training where he also learned English and French. At 18, he first moved to Australia where he danced with the West Australian Ballet. In 2022, he joined Queensland Ballet as a Company Artist.

  • 2019 & 2021 “Peasant Pas de Duex” production of “Giselle" 
  • 2019 “White Rabbit, Joker, Fish, Cook” in Krzysztof Pastor’s “ALICE (in wonderland)” 
  • 2020 “Mirlitons, Doll Boy” for The West Australian Ballet’s production of “The Nutcracker“ 
  • 2020  Eric Gauthier’s “Ballet 101” with The West Australian Ballet 2020 “Tarantella” by Jayne Smeulders 
  • 2021  Mens Solo from Natalie Weir’s “4 Seasons” 

What is your favourite role to have performed?

The White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland is a favourite role of mine. It involved a lot of jumping and acting which I love.      

Who is your biggest inspiration?

Leonid Sarafanov.
