Introducing Charlie
Charlie was born in the Northern Rivers, New South Wales. Dancing played a heavy role in his childhood, with his mother owning a ballet school where he initially began his dance training at the age of 9. He then started ballet at the Karen Island dance centre. Charlie then moved to Sydney at 15 years old to finish his schooling at the McDonald College, before joining Queensland Ballet’s pre-professional program. In 2019 Charlie was a Young Artist within the company and was promoted to Company Artist in 2020.
