Lucas D. Lynch
Music
Lucas D. Lynch is a current doctoral candidate at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, having completed his Bachelor of Music (Classical Piano) and Masters of Music (Instrumental Conducting) at the same institution.
Lucas has been a regular ballet class pianist for Queensland Ballet and has worked with The Australian Ballet, Bolshoi Ballet Academy and the Queensland University of Technology. His current research is on the specialised skillset of ballet conducting by producing and conducing the Australian Premiere of Beethoven’s only ballet, The Creatures of Prometheus this year. Lucas was assistant conductor for Queensland Ballet’s 2019 production of Dangerous Liaisonsand 2021 production of the 60th Anniversary Gala.
