#About the Workshop

Program Content

Queensland Ballet Academy is committed to nurturing the development of young dancers, especially the up-and-coming boys who are dedicating their lives to becoming tomorrow's danseurs. To further facilitate their development, we are excited to offer our inaugural Boys ONLY Workshop, taking place over the Brisbane Show Day weekend.

Male dancers between 10 - 17 years old are invited to join our Academy boys for two days of ballet training, repertoire and contemporary dance classes mentored by Christian Tátchev, Director of Queensland Ballet Academy; Paul Boyd, Head of Senior Program and Resident Choreographer; Richard Causer, Contemporary Dance Choreographer; and two of Queensland Ballet's Cuban Principal Artists, Camilo Ramos and Victor Estévez. An exclusive Q&A session will take place at the end of Day 1.

This event will be held at Queensland Ballet Academy's state-of-the-art new home in Kelvin Grove, in compliance with COVID-19 health regulations.

To provide a more enriching experience for dancers, limited places are available for registration.
