Guest Academy Program

For students in academic years 7-9, our Guest Academy Program offers an intensive training experience during a 5-day visit to the Academy each term of the Queensland state school year.

Guest Academy Program

#A World-class Training Opportunity for Ballet Students Residing Outside the Brisbane Metropolitan Area

The Guest Academy Program is designed to allow students who are not based in Brisbane to access training opportunities with our Academy. Participants in this program enjoy professional training with Queensland Ballet Academy's world-class faculty focused on the main subjects offered in our Lower School

A wellbeing session is offered to students, promoting a holistic approach to the development of the young dancers. Additionally, each visit offers the opportunity to observe classes and rehearsals with our full-time dancers, and where possible, with the Queensland Ballet Company

Guest Academy Program students receive discounted rates to Queensland Ballet Academy's holiday programs and other events.

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we work and perform. Long before we performed on this land, it played host to the dance expression of our First Peoples. We pay our respects to their Elders — past, present and emerging — and acknowledge the valuable contribution they have made and continue to make to the cultural landscape of this country.
