#The Queensland Ballet Academy Difference

At Queensland Ballet Academy, we ensure our programs put the interest of our students first.

With a focus on delivering sustainable learning and development in dance, academics, health and wellbeing, students are empowered to take learned skills into all facets of life.

Our partnership with Queensland Department of Education delivers academic studies alongside professional ballet and dance training for our full time Upper and Lower School students.

We have a dedicated physiotherapy team and Admissions and Wellbeing Manager on site to ensure students are supported outside of their studies.

Sessions with affiliated health professionals on site encourage students to learn the importance of holistic health and wellbeing for a successful professional life.

Being the official ballet training school of Queensland Ballet means the Academy has unrivalled access to professional training opportunities, networks and more.

#Fees and Support

Queensland Ballet Academy is fortunate to be able to offer students experiencing financial hardship the opportunity to apply for scholarships and bursaries. This would not be possible without the generous support of our Queensland Ballet donors, who share our vision of making ballet training accessible to young dancers.

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we work and perform. Long before we performed on this land, it played host to the dance expression of our First Peoples. We pay our respects to their Elders — past, present and emerging — and acknowledge the valuable contribution they have made and continue to make to the cultural landscape of this country.
