Upper School - Contemporary Course

An exciting course designed to equip dancers with a strong, hybrid skill set across both ballet and contemporary techniques, in preparation for pre-professional and tertiary contemporary dance studies.

Contemporary Course

Under the direction of Contemporary Dance Coordinator and Resident Choreographer, Louise Deleur, this course is an additional pathway available within the Upper School at Level 1. It is suited to students entering year 11 or 12, who are seeking a career in professional companies whose repertoire incorporates contemporary, modern or neo-classical genres.

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we work and perform. Long before we performed on this land, it played host to the dance expression of our First Peoples. We pay our respects to their Elders — past, present and emerging — and acknowledge the valuable contribution they have made and continue to make to the cultural landscape of this country.
