Robert McMillan
Robert was born in Brisbane and grew up in Caloundra where he trained at the Centre of Dance. He moved to boarding school in Brisbane and trained with Rhonda Binnie and Diane Gray at The Ritz Performing Arts Centre. Robert was accepted into Queensland Ballet’s Professional Year program in 2009 and became a trainee dancer with the Company in 2011. Roberts favourite roles include the Russian dancer in Francois Klaus’ The Nutcracker, the jealously pas de deux in Rosetta Cook’s Hall of Flames and Blair Wood’s Continuum which was created on Robert.
Robert was recently promoted to Company Dancer, effective January 2012.
