Venue Hire
If you're looking for studio space or a venue to hire for a function in Brisbane – the Thomas Dixon Centre is a great option. The Thomas Dixon Centre is home to the Queensland Ballet and is located in the inner city suburb of West End, 3km’s from Brisbane’s CBD.
We have three studio spaces available for hire, as well as a large open indoor space (the Green Room) and an outdoor area (the Terrace).
The studios are ideally suited for hire as dance rehearsal and performance spaces, and the Green Room and the Terrace offer a unique setting for events ranging from small meetings to cocktail functions.
As well as our car park just off Drake Street, there is free off-street parking available.

How to book
- Read the information in our venue hire information pdf to find out which space is suitable for you
- Check the space is available on the date you need it by emailing the Office Co-ordinator. In your email, please indicate the preferred space, dates and information about the event.
- If the space is suitable and the dates are available, the next step is to fill out the contract that will secure your booking. Your booking will be confirmed once a signed Theatre Hire Agreement and booking deposit has been received.
