She held the world of ballet at her feet for decades, and left memories which would never be erased. But for all the joy and triumph, Fonteyn’s life was marked by immense sadness.
In its 50th year, Queensland Ballet proudly presents Fonteyn Remembered, a deeply moving homage to a unique artist.

All the elements of traditional classical dance, lovely costumes and the additions of actors and multi-media added another level that brought it right up with the most modern of productions. You are so clever and in touch with your audience François Klaus! I am only disappointed I didn't hear or read more reviews about this production. I think I would have attended earlier in the season and then had the chance to encourage more of my friends to go. I hope you will repeat the production in the future.
