Friends’ Events

Our Friends are invited to events throughout the year where they have the opportunity to mingle with our Artistic team and dancers. We will finish the year with our Friends’ Christmas Party Friday 21 November. This happy event will be an opportunity to share some Christmas cheer with our dancers and reflect on the achievements of Season 2014.

Tea, Tights and Tutus Brunch

Our next event will be an exclusive Tea, Tights and Tutus Brunch at Brisbane City Hall, on Saturday 28 June at 10.30am. Our Friends will be invited to meet and mingle with international guests in the production of Sir Kenneth MacMillan’s Romeo & Juliet, our own Queensland Ballet dancers, and Artistic Director Li Cunxin. We are delighted to welcome The Honourable Quentin Bryce AD CVO as our special guest MC for this event.

Book now for this unique occasion (cost of $60 includes a delicious brunch with complimentary sparkling wine).

If you haven’t already joined the Friends, why not book to Tea, Tights and Tutus and take this opportunity to join us? Simply chose the 'New Friend' option when booking your ticket (cost of $100 includes brunch with complimentary sparkling wine and your Friend's membership).

For more information, phone Queensland Ballet on 07 3013 6658.

Dress Rehearsals
For the first time, Dress Rehearsals are open to our Friends.  Enjoy unique insight into how the dancers, Artistic and Technical teams work through the final rehearsal prior to Opening Night.  Please note each Friend is entitled to purchase one Dress Rehearsal ticket per annum.

Newsletters
Our Friends will continue to receive newsletters throughout the year with details of upcoming events and further insights into the workings of the Company.
