Anne Elizabeth Peters’ early training was in her home town of Orange after which she undertook training with Hilary Kaplan and Archibald McKenzie of Alegria Dance Studios in Sydney. She was offered a place in Queensland Ballet’s Professional Year for 2008 and in her first year appeared in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, 2008 International Gala, The Little Mermaid, and Swan Lake. In her second year, Anne Elizabeth appeared in the Brisbane and regional Queensland performances of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the 2009 International Gala, The Sleeping Beauty, and Step Forward!, the program devised to showcase the 2009 Professional Year students. Anne-Elizabeth was the recipient of the 2009 George Hartnett Funerals Award and was taken into Queensland Ballet as a Trainee dancer in January, 2010. She is supported financially through the generosity of the Eduard Paschzella Memorial Gift.
