Yu Hui
Soloist

Yu Hui was born in China. He began his dance training at the Zhejiang Art School in Hangzhou. In 2001 he won the gold medal in the Young Dancers’ Competition in China.

Yui was awarded a full scholarship to join the New Zealand School of Dance. Upon finishing his study he joined the Royal New Zealand Ballet as a Company Dancer.

Yu Hui then joined Singapore Dance Theatre for their 2006 season before coming to Queensland Ballet in 2007 as a Company Dancer. Yui was promoted to Soloist in 2008.
