Charles Riddiford
Young Artist

Charles was born in Berwick, Victoria. He started ballet at the age of 12 at the Regional Academy of Performing Arts.

Charles was a semi finalist in the McDonald's Scholarship in 2010. He was accepted into the New Zealand School of Dance's full time program in 2011 and was awarded a scholarship to travel to New York and Canada in 2012. Charles joined the Royal Winnipeg Ballet Aspirant Program in 2013 and performed in many productions with the Company including Marius Petipa’s The Sleeping Beauty, Rudi van Dantzig’s Romeo and Juliet and Galina Yordanova and Nina Menon’s The Nutcracker

Charles joined Queensland Ballet as a Jette Parker Young Artist in 2014.
