Queensland Ballet dancers will display their impressive technique and versatility in four distinctly different contemporary dance works by international and Australian choreographers in …with attitude 2009.
Dutch choreographer Nils Christe and his Rehearsal Director, Annegien Sneep, first worked with Queensland Ballet to re-stage his Purcell Pieces for the Company’s International Gala 2008. They return in 2009 to re-mount Sync, a work originally created for Washington Ballet, and which now features on the repertoire list of companies across the globe. An exhilarating and energetic piece, Sync is set to propulsive, percussive music, featuring distinctive solos, a sensuous pas de deux, and stylish ensembles.
A Midsummer Night's Dream

Full of action, drama and humour, François Klaus’s lavish production is based on Shakespeare’s much-loved play, and features several different musical styles, including Mendelssohn’s famous incidental music.
